COMMERCIAL PHOTOGRAPHY CHECKLIST

Ok, so you’ve paid your deposit, signed the contract, and booked a date for your commercial photoshoot with us at Severn Valley Creative Studios. We want your photoshoot to go perfectly, and aim to keep it as cost-effective as possible. That is why we have prepared the following photography project checklist to help you get everything in order before the big day when creativity begins to flow. Please take your time to read through this guide to ensure a smooth operation.

  1. Prepare your models if necessary. Tell them what to expect. Send them a link to our portfolios so they can pre-visualise a photoshoot.

  2. Clean up your space. Time at the computer, editing photographs can quickly add up. When you book us for a half day or full day photoshoot, some editing time is included in your fee. Be aware that this time covers only basic editing, culling, and exporting. Additional time will be required should there be any marks on walls, stains on clothing, or other necessary things to clean up. We pride ourselves on delivering the highest quality, cleanest looking photographs. Any preventable mess within your photographs will have to be cleaned up if we are to put our name to it, and, therefore, you will be charged a fee for this service. Please note that this will be included in your proposal/ quotation.

  3. Bring your best self. Get plenty of sleep, know what to expect, and bring an open mind and heart to your photoshoot for the ultimate results.
